Gorgeous artwork at 'Gorgeous' in the Ironbridge Gorge.
It took me a while to make the link between the Shropshire Guild's Christmas show being called 'Gorgeous' and the fact that it was held in the Ironbridge Gorge. In fact I remember hearing (and possibly feeling the splash) when the penny eventually dropped. It's a cracking show - mostly Shropshire Guild Members but other fantastic makers show there too.
For me the last few months in the studio have been all about preparing for Gorgeous - lots of jewellery along with a series of 'little houses' trinket boxes. I'm hoping to get a few more bowls in the kiln in time to bring along on Friday when we set up. I dare say that I'll probably be knitting whilst at the show. The latest creation in that department is a Highland Cow! Hey Ho best to keep out of mischief.
Do come along for some amazing unique gifts - It's on this Saturday and Sunday (Nov 18th and 19th) at Enginuity in the Ironbridge Gorge. See you there :-) Sara
